HOLY COMMUNION is served continuously, please follow the ushers.  All who are baptized and believe in the crucified and risen Lord Jesus Christ are welcome.  The center ring of glasses is grape juice, and the hexagon-shaped crackers are gluten-free.  Children not receiving communion are encouraged to come up for a blessing.

SALES/INFO/SIGN-UPS – All sales/info/sign-ups (assistants, coffee, cards, Scrip, etc.) are on the north side of

the entry.   There are two “sale/info” tables available for groups to use on a first-come, first-served basis (check with the office to reserve a spot).  Please take a minute to see what’s available today.

$50,000 CHALLENGE! Every dollar given to the Debt Reduction Challenge by August 17 will be matched up to $50,000 and will allow us to pay down our principal before we renew our loan.  To give to this challenge, please use a slip from the usher stand or clearly mark your donation “Debt Challenge.” 

AUGUST SCRIP ORDERS - The August deadline for ordering Scrip is TODAY. Orders will be ready for pick up Aug. 12.  Debit/credit cards may be used to pay for scrip orders.  Use the card terminal in the narthex (directions are located next to the unit).  To place an order, complete an order form (blank forms are at the Scrip station in the narthex and on our website) and place it in an envelope along with your cash, check or debit/credit card slip.  Place your envelope in the wooden Scrip box located in the middle church office or in either of the drop boxes. If you have any questions regarding the Scrip program and how easy it is to use, please contact Sharon Hauschild 715-307-2531 (cell).  Thank you!

JOY CIRCLE – meets Thursday, August 9, at 1:30 at church.  Pauline Wangen, our new Director of Family Ministries, will be at our meeting to talk about her new position and to answer questions.  Shirley Rode is the hostess.  Everyone is welcome!

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - The summer has gone by quickly August is here! We are really excited for Vacation Bible School, and it is not too late to sign up!!  "Jesus is our Super Hero" is coming Saturday, August 18, from 9:00 - 11:30am at Peace for ages 3 years to 5th Grade (6th Grade and up can be helpers).  Cost is $5.00.  Be sure to wear your "Super Hero" Costume!!  ´╗┐Registration forms are in the narthex and the church office or you can register the morning of VBS.

SCHOOL ITEMS FOR GUATEMALA - The Guatemalan Mission Team is collecting the following items:  glue sticks, pens, pencils, colored pencils, color crayons (24 pk), coloring books, rulers, pencil sharpeners and youth scissors.  If you are willing to help us out, we would greatly appreciate donations before the end of September! There is a box on the round table outside Amy's office for donations.  If you have any questions, please call Gloria at 715-698-4155.  THANK YOU! (7/15)

PUZZLE EXCHANGE!  There are several of us that enjoy puzzles, so we’ve put a box in the back of the church for a puzzle exchange. After you complete a puzzle, add it to the box for someone else to enjoy and then find another puzzle to take home for you to enjoy. (8/5)

TUESDAY COMMUNITY SUPPER - First Tuesday of every month at Gethsemane in Baldwin.  This is a free meal open to anyone in the community from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.  Area churches, businesses and organizations take turns preparing and serving. The next supper is Tuesday, August 7thThere will not be a September TCS due to the Labor Day holiday.
