HOLY COMMUNION is served continuously, please follow the ushers.  All who are baptized and believe in the crucified and risen Lord Jesus Christ are welcome.  The center ring of glasses is grape juice, and the hexagon-shaped crackers are gluten-free.  Children not receiving communion are encouraged to come up for a blessing.

PRAYER TIME - We have a Prayer Team at Peace and share in prayer time on Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m. All are welcome to come to share in a devotion and pray.  Questions? Julie Hanson (715.220.5149) or Nancy Rowe 715.531.8784.

SALES/INFO/SIGN-UPS – All sales/info/sign-ups (assistants, coffee, cards, Scrip, etc.) are on the north side of the entry.   There are two “sale/info” tables available for groups to use on a first-come, first-served basis (check with the office to reserve a spot).  Please take a minute to see what’s available today.

CONGREGATION BUDGET REVIEW MEETING – The Trustees will present the proposed 2018 Budget at the November 28 Church Council meeting at 6:30 p.m.  This meeting is open to ALL congregation members.  It is held prior to the Annual Meeting to address concerns and questions about the budget.

BATTLE PLAN FOR PRAYER BIBLE STUDY – If you want to learn more about prayer and put it into practice in your life, please join us for this nine-week study.  We will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursdays starting November 30 and continuing Dec. 7 & 14 / Jan. 4, 11, 18, 25 / Feb. 1 & 8.  If you have any questions, please contact Julie Hanson (715-220-5149) or Amy Larson (715-684-9935).  Everyone is welcome!

HEAR YE!  HEAR YE!  The Madrigal Dinner returns!  Peace is hosting a Madrigal Dinner this Friday, December 1, and Saturday, December 2 at 6:30 p.m. Join us in the great dining hall for choral and instrumental selections, special readings, and caroling.  Tickets are $20 and can be reserved by contacting the Church Office at 715-684-2770 or This email address is being protected from spambots. DECEMBER SCRIP ORDERS - One (1) Scrip Shopping Day Until Christmas!!  The December deadline for ordering Scrip is next Sunday, December 3. Orders will be ready for pick up on Sunday, December 10.  Debit/credit cards may be used to pay for scrip orders.  Use the card terminal in the narthex of church (directions are located next to the unit).  To place an order, simply complete your order form (blank forms at the Scrip station in the narthex and on the website) and place it in an envelope along with your cash, check or debit/credit card slip.  Place your envelope in the wooden Scrip box located in the middle church office or in either of the drop boxes.  Thank you to everyone who has supported the Scrip fundraising program this last year.  From January through November, approximately $2,000 has been raised!  If you have any questions about the Scrip program and how to use it, please contact Sharon Hauschild 715-307-253 (cell).  Thank you!

“LIVE” SCRIP SALES – On December 3, between services and after the 10:30 service, there will be a “live” sale of many commonly used scrip cards.  Please stop in the entry and check out scrip cards available for immediate sale. If you do not find the specific card or denomination you are interested in, you can place a separate order for it on December 3rd and the card(s) will be ready for you to pick up on December 10th at the church. 

COMMUNITY SUPPER HELP - It is Peace’s turn to cook and serve the Tuesday Community Supper on Tuesday, December 5, at Gethsemane Lutheran. Please see the sign-up sheet in the entry to see how you can help.

WOMEN OF PEACE COOKIE SALE – all women are encouraged to please bring cookies for the WOP bake sale on Sunday, December 10.  Cookies may be brought that day (by 7:30 would be great) or the week ahead.

CHRISTMAS POINSETTIAS – Please help us decorate for Christmas!  Poinsettias are $9.00 each and may be taken home following the Christmas services.  You may remember a loved one, honor a special person or occasion, or just help us decorate!  Order forms are available at the usher stand, in the office, and on the website.

TUESDAY COMMUNITY SUPPER - is served the first Tuesday of every month at Gethsemane in Baldwin from 5 to 6:30. This is a free meal open to everyone. Area churches, businesses, and organizations take turns preparing and serving. Peace will be preparing and serving on December 5. Note: there will NOT be a Tuesday Community Supper on January 2, 2018, because it is so close to a holiday.
