HOLY COMMUNION is served continuously, please follow the ushers.  All who are baptized and believe in the crucified and risen Lord Jesus Christ are welcome.  The center ring of glasses is grape juice, and the hexagon-shaped crackers are gluten-free.  Children not receiving communion are encouraged to come up for a blessing.

VISITOR/INFORMATION CARDS are available from the ushers for visitors who would like information about our church or members who would like to communicate with the pastor or the office.

PRAYER TIME - We have formed a Prayer Team and started a prayer time on Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m. We share in a devotion and pray.  Questions? Julie Hanson (715.220.5149) or Nancy Rowe 715.531.8784.

NEW MEMBER CLASSES – If you or someone you know is interested in joining Peace or just wondering what it means to be a member, join us for New Member class starting TODAY and continuing October 15 & 22.  Class starts at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary.  If you would like to join but can’t be at the first class, please let us know (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 715-684-2770).

SILENT AUCTION!!  We again celebrate success as this is the 9th year of raising $10,000 or more to receive the extra $5,000 challenge money!!  We thank everyone for their donations and bids and also thank the faithful and efficient Silent Auction workers.  We couldn’t do this without every one of you helping in some way!  (Watch for full report in Nov. newsletter).

DAN ROWE MEMORIAL WALKATHON – On Sunday, October 22, between services, Sunday School is sponsoring the Dan Rowe Memorial Walkathon. Everyone is encouraged to walk (dress for the weather – we will walk rain or shine or mud!) Everyone that gathers at least $25 in donations will receive a His Arms t-shirt and everyone who gathers any amount will receive a Thrivent shirt (while supplies last). This money all goes toward sending children to primary school in Western Kenya where it costs $25 a year for uniform and fees (the average family makes .75 cents a day). This year participants will receive a "Thank You" card written by one of the recipients of last year’s scholarships. The top three fundraisers from Sunday School will be gifted an item from Kenya!  ASANTE SANA!  Thank you! Pick up donation sheets from your Sunday School teacher or at the Sunday School table.

DID YOU KNOW?  There are steps with handrails on both sides of the stage in the sanctuary along with the option of using the ramp, which also has a handrail.  There is an AED in the entry by the north doors (with instructions).  And we have spots saved in worship for those that might need a little more room.  We are always looking for ways to make our building more accessible and safe for all, so please let us know if you have ideas for us.  (10/1)
